La Maison de la presse a abrité le colloque International sur "l'action territoriale entre ville et campagne". La rencontre est co-organisée par la Fondation Charles de Gaulle, l'université de Bambey et le Comité d'Action pour une nouvelle coopération française en Afrique. Elle a enregistré la participation d'éminentes personnalités parmi lequelles Jacques GODFRAIN ancien ministre français de la coopération, Cellou Dalein Diallo, ancien premier ministre de la République de Guinée, Aichata Haidara, Vice-présidente du parlement africain, l'Amiral Edouard GUILLAUD ancien Cemga de l'armée française des recteurs Mahy Diaw de l'université de Bambey entre autres.
